Extracurricular Activities

The National Junior Society (NJHS) is a national recognition program. It is a co-curricular activity that supports the educational goals of the school. Membership is a privilege for students, not a right. It is open to all students who meet the five established criteria of scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship and character. There is not an application for membership. An eligible student completes a “student activity information form.” This form is intended to provide the Faculty Council with relevant information to support the student’s candidacy. Student activity information forms will be available to students in early January. As there are many components to this document and service hours required, it is important that students get started as soon as possible.
